...the mice will play.In this case, I'm playing with a poster I found at a yard sale.
We don't have a cat anymore,
much as I've whined and begged asked.
I don't think Hubby wants to go through
the loss of another pet.
I guess I don't either, but I miss having something
in the house that purrs.
I came across this great poster at a yard sale the other day
titled Blue Window
When I was looking at it the seller asked if I liked cats
I answered,"Yes, but what I really like are the birds."
After two minutes contemplation
and a price of $5...
it came home with me.

what a beautiful treat for only 5$!

I like both cats and birds just like you do. I used to live in Los Angeles, CA in junior high days. Oh such good memories.

Oh, this can't be the right place. I'll fix it! Cute poster, though. Hasn't your hubby read those stats about pet ownership? Perhaps he could think about it a different way...he'd be rescuing a kitty whom only the two of you can love as you do rather than thinking about whatever future loss might be involved. That's no way to live! Oops. I've quit preaching and gone to meddling.
