The Studio Door

On the dusty path to our fishin' hole, we pass a piece of property that runs along the highway.  We've always commented on the eccentricity of the place; a collection of curious farm equipment and rusty tractors lined up on display just inside the fence, and a house that's completely obscured.  Donkeys in a pen used to greet us as we turned the corner onto this road ~ but no more.  A sign says it's a Studio, by appointment only.

After driving by it for 30 years, I finally asked hubby to pull over and let me take pictures.  He did (but kept the engine running of course).  As I approached the fence I saw a gate that you can't see from the road.  It was enchanting.

Through the trees I zoomed in on an old yellow gas truck with a bullet hole in the windshield

A wagon full of vintage bottles

Citrus trees lining one end of the yard,  garnished with bob wire

and an old plow sitting idle in the field

I'll have to go back when I can stay longer.
Maybe I'll knock on the door!

 Or not.

Counting My Blessings,

Susy

I'm going down the road to Spiritual Sundays
