And now it's my entry for Claudia's Favorite Thing Saturday. Claudia has several beautiful pieces of Roseville, so I think she's going to like this one (**
My love for Roseville started with a vase given to me by my sister, probably 40 years ago. Back then, it wasn't hard to come by a nice piece for a fair price.
My collection comes in all shapes and sizes
and is sprinkled all over the house
Although Roseville Pottery was founded in 1890
my pieces are primarily from the 30's and 40's
My Favorite piece, by far, is this lime green
Apple Blossom Ewer.
Counting My Blessings,

I'm joining the parties over at Vee's
A Haven for Vee

All are stunning and beautiful. I cannot afford them even half off at an estate sale these days.
ReplyDeleteOooh, you are so right. That ewer is a great piece. I have one treasured vase from Roseville. I think I might have told you earlier that it was Warren's Grandmother's. I love it!
ReplyDeleteThey are all so beautiful & unique! My Mother had one piece of Roseville she received as a wedding gift.

Carol
Isn't that another piece of Roseville on your sidebar? It's all so pretty. And I also love all the old books in the background.
ReplyDeleteHi Susy. This pottery is so beautiful. I've never seen any before and really like the blue bowl with the green grape leaves. These photos make great notecards. Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment! Blessings, Pamela
ReplyDeleteSomehow the link was taking everyone to last month's post. I have it fixed now and hope that people find your current post. I have some McCoy pieces, though no Roseville...yet. It's beautiful, isn't it? So stylized and with such rich colors and graceful lines. It looks perfectly at home with you!
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful collection of Roseville and I love how you have it scattered all over your house using it in so many different ways....I'd have a hard time deciding which is my favorite but I am definitely with you on the apple blossom ewer......Beautiful works of art..
ReplyDeleteGreat collection. Don't you love collecting something that screams "you". I have several collections like that. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI love Roseville pottery. You have a lovely collection -- each so different.
ReplyDeleteYou have quite a wonderful collection! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteThank you for stopping by my blog. I've not heard of Roseville pottery but it is beautiful and you have some nice pieces.
ReplyDeleteSusy, your collection puts my little one to shame. Your pieces are SO lovely. I can't get enough of your photos. You can post about your Roseville any old time!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining in this week, my friend.

Beautiful! Roseville is so elegant yet homey if that makes any sense!
ReplyDeleteMy Grandmother had a Roseville vase I always thought was so pretty.
ReplyDeleteSimply wonderful. My neighbor had Roseville and when she died none of her family wanted them. They did find a buyer and sold them for so much less than their worth. You have a great collection.

These pieces are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSome beautiful pieces in your collection, Susy. I have never had a piece, but have admired them. I will always think of you when I see a piece of Roseville now. Thanks for sharing the beauty.
ReplyDeleteWhat a georgous collection!
ReplyDeleteOh wow Susy, these pieces are incredible works of art.
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but when you post, your notification is not coming up at times on my blog.
I am missing you girl.
Much love,
D.
Peeking in... you've been gone so long. Hope that all is well with you and yours.
