Seedtime and Harvest

While the earth remains,
seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat,
winter and summer,
and day and night
shall not cease.

Genesis 8:22

Some of my favorite things are hand painted pieces collected over the years.

These six mugs have their home in a small mission china cupboard that belonged to my grandparents and was shipped to me from Oklahoma nearly forty years ago .

I actually don't recall where I found them, but probably at the local flea market.

The mugs are porcelain, marked Imperial PSL Austria, but no signature .

Each of the six has a beautiful
hand painted image on one side.

Wheat, pine cones, corn.

Acorns,  hops and hazelnuts.

On the back side is the letter "D"
(our initial)

Each lettering slightly different.

Altogether, a wonderful reminder of Harvest's Bounty

Blessings!
And thanks for stopping by.

  15. You have such lovely things (and taste). :-)

Do you not say, It is still four months until harvest time comes? Look! I tell you, raise your eyes and observe the fields and see how they are already white for harvesting. James 4:35 Amplified Bible

    It's harvest time! :-)
