Play Date

I'm playing with PicMonkey.

I've never used a photo editor before,
 and it's FUN!

  This one will be great
 when they add
 the collage feature.

  Easy peasy.

Here's the same photo with the color enhanced a bit

This is a small pond in our frontyard.
The wire net is to keep Egrets and racoons from
dining on the fish.

I added a frame to this one.
And some text which isn't easy to read

..on a learning curve here.

And a softening affect

Here's the frog pad

The roses are blooming.
I've already enjoyed 2 bouquets

the succulents are happy too
( this isn't a closeup - they're huge )

We found a mature Sansevierias (aka MotherInLaw Tongue)
in an alley !  It's waiting for a home

A bird nest fell out of our Pepper Tree that hangs over the driveway

We don't know what kind of bird used it.  Hummingbird?
It's soft like a towel.

Other garden friends

my favorite (:

I'ts a lazy day ~ I'm heading for a fluffy pillow somewhere

  1. You have many blessings to count, I loved looking at these pics. That hummingbird nest it different for me. Your flowers are blooming and happy and all your garden statues reflect your love of Gods creatures. xxx Have a sweet rest in Him..xxx

  2. Your garden is wonderful as are your photos. You must have the best front yard on the block. I have never used a photo editing program, but would love to do what you did with your pictures. Maybe I should try PicMonkey if it really is easy...
All your yard animals are so cute. My hubby teases me about mine, but I just love placing them among my plants.
Hope you found that fluffy pillow and enjoyed some quiet time.

  5. Hi, Susy...I love your pretty garden.
I also love playing in photo editing. I use PhotoScape for that. I am trying FotoFlexer for collages but haven't really learned it yet. I sure do miss Picnik....bwaaaaaa

  6. It's so much fun to do photo editing. One of the features I like best is "bloom." You certainly have wonderful photos to play and practice with.

  8. Susy, this is exactly the beauty I would love in my yard! So peaceful. I live in Upland so you are close enough to come do my yard!!! :) I have a 70 lb African Sulcata tortoise that roams my yard and has a tendency to walk over plants and kills them. Of course, he chooses the new things I plant. Anyway, this is beautiful. I'm glad you stopped by my blog so I could find yours!
