We enjoyed a little porch-sitting and fishing this weekend at our get-away cabin at the Old Colorado River. We hauled down a pair of has-been wicker chairs that I bought at a yard sale for $10. The round table had been inside the cabin, but was replaced recently with one that hubby preferred, so it was relegated to the porch. My assignment was to give them all a coat of white paint ~ and my reward was reserved dinner seating with a spectacular view.
Counting my Blessings,
Susy

Don't you just love getting away to such a wonderful place....I bet those chairs were beautiful after the paint job...And what a view....sounds like a good deal..Did he cook while you painted?
ReplyDeleteHi Susie, I love those type of chairs..They paint up well and will like look new. Sitting outside in good weather and breathing the fresh air is a great way to enjoy a cuppa, book or yatta... xx
ReplyDeleteO, Susy, I am so glad to see that you are enjoying your wonderful little cabin. Wish I could come visit and get in some fishing. I LOVE to fish but you couldn't run fast enuf to make me eat them. :))
