In California, like many states,
Daylight Savings Time
comes to an end this weekend.
It got me thinking about the time and season
we're living in right now.
It could be frightening,
except that we have Jesus.
He has encouraged us to not be afraid,
because He is with us always.
Eccesiastes 3:1-8
To everything there is a season,
and a time to every purpose
under heaven
A time to be born
and a time to die
a time to plant,
and a time to pluck up that which is planted
A time to kill, and a time to heal
A time to break down and a time to build up
A time to weep, and a time to laugh
a time to mourn and a time to dance
A time to cast away stones,
and a time to gather stones together
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing
A time to get, and a time to lose
A time to keep, and a time to cast away
A time to rend, and a time to sew
A time to keep silence and a time to speak

A time to love, and a time to hate
a time of war and a time of peace.
Blessings to you,
Susy
I never tire of Solomon's Song.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to share that passage from the Bible. You are such a blessing to me, Susy.

What a beautiful post, Susy. I sure agree with you. It would be extremely depressing with all that is going on in the world if we didn't know that God has promised a good ending to it all and that he is with us always. I've always loved this scripture, and you have illustrated it so beautifully. Thank you for sharing this with us. Oh, and I'm glad that Arizona doesn't go on daylight savings time. We always stay on "God's time". That's what I call it. LOL
